Starbucks and Protein!!

This might be old new but it is new to me so I thought I would share. While I was at Starbucks today they had an advertising for oatmeal and a Vanilla Latte + Protein. Well, the word protein stuck out to me so of course I had to ask about this. You can now have protein powder (whey) added to your latte. Its 3 scoops of protein which equals about 15 grams of protein. So add that to what you are already getting that is about 25+ protein per drink!! Woohoo. The guy says that its tasteless and he thought it was pretty good!!

Anyways just wanted to share! Hope you are all having a great day!!

Ohhhhhh , I'll have to try that next time I'm there.

I wonder if heat reduces the protein you end up getting in anyway. May be a dumb question, just wondering.

did you try it ?  is it sugar free - I was gonna look it up on their website -

also - heat doesn't change the protein - they would have to nuke it pretty high temp for it to change. I drink my chocolate protein powder hot in the winter - like hot chocolate - and my nutritionist said we don't loose anything.

Hey there! I did not try it! I had already order my drink when I noticed this. Perhaps I will try tomorrow. I asked about sugar and he said no! Not too sure I trust that 100% I need to see for myself!!
