Calories to keep losing?
Hey Paula!
If you go on thedailyplate.com, there's a calculator on there that will help you figure out how many calories you need to maintain and/or lose. Nurse Barb figured mine for me when I was frustrated by a lengthy stall earlier this summer - and I actually need @ 1400 to LOSE! So I upped my intake a bit, and bada-bing! I started losing again! So if you're not losing, you may not be getting enough calories???
Give it a look-see!!

Thanks for sharing that website Darla! I signed up and did the calculation and it says I need almost 1600 calories to lose 2 pounds a week with my limited activity level. WOWZER!! Much better than I thought. I think I'll take another stab at tracking what I eat and my exercise - maybe this will be what I need to get back to losing!!!
Try it - it absolutely flies in the face of everything we've ever learned or believed as "dieters", but I swear, it worked for me!!! I spent 8+ weeks at 230-232, but once I added a few extras in each day, I dropped! SMART extras, protein, mostly... It's certainly worth a try!!!
