An idea for a TAT 4 me

This is only the start, not the whole thing.  I've been toying with getting a tatoo and inspired by Darla I wanted something with meaning.  The picture you see is the beginning...  Here is what you see...
There are two letter C_s together in a symbolic configuration.  It symbolizes a weight chart because it slopes up then goes down.  The letter's CC are also my friend (who died last week) initials...but the most symbolic part is that CC is Roman Numbers for 200.  I am less than 10 pounds from losing a total of 200 pounds.
Somehow, I would like to add a viper to symbolize Steel Venom, the ride that killed my spirt last year.  I don't know wheter to wrap a viper around the C's or to incorporate some sort of twist to make the C's become the track.  I think when asked what it means I will simply point out the C's and say 200 pounds lost baby...

What do you think?

Interesting thought process and design, Paul. I like the Roman numeral thought behind it!

But curiosity strikes. Why not keep it positive? If a ride crushed your spirit, do you really want that included in that tat? Or, is it from the standpoint that you never want it to happen again?

Where are you inking yourself?

Because Amy, I have now conquered that ride...it's become my greatest symbol.
I'm planning on my upper arm....color?  Don't know.

Paul baby, if you want someone to come along and "hold your hand" while you get inked, I hope you'll   ...

I love the thought behind your design - but I have a suggestion.  If you know where you want to go, I'd make an appointment to meet with one of the tattoo artists to have them help you with a design.  Those people are usually AMAZING with turning thoughts and ideas into a visual!  Incorporating all the things you want to include into one design is something I believe they pride themselves in.

And if you don't know where you want to go, I would be happy to give you the business card of the guy that did mine, up in Monticello.  He's a GREAT guy!!  Did my butterfly for me when no one else would touch my hand, just because he understood and appreciated the reasons behind my wanting it.

Will you be doing this to celebrate hitting that 200# milestone???

Yay! It worked... I am glad that you figured it out.

I think this looks awesome... I'd say no color.. but that's just me (because it usually fades). I'll be there along side Darla for you...

I agree with Darla, go to an expert and see what they say...

Very awesome idea Paul. It would look good on your arm... or anywhere, really.
