PRAYERS PLEASE...

Nope, nothing traumatic. No good news, no bad news, nothing at all to report.

It's just that I've decided that I HAVE TO re-read some text books to refresh my memory. And my memory ain't so hot! Yeah, I'm under a lot of stress, and yup--hormonal things can send your memory on vacation.
My problem is that the vacation is over and my memory is nowhere to be found!!

I worry that I'll get an over-the-phone job interview and screw it up by not remembering some strategic social work theory or other. Or not remember one of the stages of Alzheimer's or some other dementia.....(Maybe I have it???)

I KNOW the whole spiritual component of this journey of mine. Maybe God needs a reminder?? Hope that wasn't sacrilegious.

ANYWAY--thanks so much in advance for the prayers. You guys are the BEST!

Sue,,,,everything will be okay, Take some deep breathes and relax!

You have come this far and you will go even further. Don't let the stress rule your life. You are in charge. The added stress does boggle our brain and hormonal changes don't help. You just keep fighting and keep doing what you are doing. Your memory is right there waiting for you to relax so it can come out.

Thanks, Connie. It's just too easy to get caught up in the 'here and now'--no REAL job or at least one that'll pay the rent without working 90 hrs a week. Just gotta believe......

My sister in Tucson told me about the Tohono O'odham Nation near her that's looking to set up a Geriatric program for their elderly folks. Apparently this nation is very wealthy from casinos and pays well with great benefits. Like encouraging Masters degrees and paying for it. And as a white female, I would get the 'reverse' discrimination policy--like 'go to the head of the line' type thing. Anyway--here's ANOTHER job I applied for..

Yep, your in my prayers......Every night I say a special prayer for my OH family. And add a few special prayers for those that are in need of extra......

For some reason God isn't listening to me.......
