2 months out.

Well I am just barely 2 months out and I am SOOOO excited to say I am at 260!    I have taken a unwanted but forced excercise break for a week, but the scale is still moving.

However I am not fitting into ANY of my clothes.  My boss on Friday told me I am getting sloppy enough that I am tedering on the dress code.  Ugh!
I am trying really hard to not buy anything new...But I am going to to have to cave and get myself at least one pair of pants that fit.

Does anyone have any size 18 jeans?  That is coming to support group on Wed?

I love the fact that I had the surgery, I have not felt this good in forever!

Congrats on your new number!
If you are not ready to buy new clothes, one suggestion might be to get some clothes altered instead of buying. My tailor charges about $7 for pants. I know we are all looking forward to not shopping at Lane Bryant but they do have the best fitting jeans I think about $40.

Congrats on the loss so far, awesome!
I think your boss paid you a compliment - if the clothes are too big and are looking sloppy, time to play dress up! I'd be excited about that.

You don't need to buy many pieces, just maybe 2 or 3 pairs of pants and a few versatile tops that you can layer and/or mix & match with eachother.

Swapkins is coming up, too - so that's a GREAT time to get free clothes!!! Be sure and put that on your calendar.

And don't discount the local thrift shops. Many great finds there for cheap!!!
Thanks to LA Foster, she once posted a thread about all the different ones locally.

Congrats Girl and way to work your tool! You are doing great! I agree with Amy, make sure you get to swapkins and try some thrift stores like savers for now. You'll be asking people for their size 10's in no time!

Congrat's on your WL......Savers is where I went when I was dropping weight fast. The clothes are cheap and in good shape......It doesn't pay to go spend money at regular department stores, you'll just grow out of them in a month.......

Good luck, and enjoy shrinking........

Are you talking about PNC support group Wednesday night?  I have some 18 dressy pants that have never been worn...  beige-ish pin stripey...   Talls.   Let me know!

Darla,  I am by no means tall... But I could get them hemmed.  Yep, Wed at PNC.  I love that group!

And thanks to everyone else for the suggestions.  I need to run to savers.

OOOH did someone say Thrift Store ???

Just a reminder - that Labor Day the Unique Thrift Stores and Value Thrift at Sunray have their 50% off sales -

I think that Savers may too - im not positive on that one - i don't go there.

Congrats on your 2 months!  Linda
