Reminder: Roadtrip to offer support to Wisc friend.
Just thought I'd post a reminder....Linda and I will be taking a roadtrip on Saturday to visit my dear friend, Gloria, who had surgery in Wisconsin about 6 weeks ago. Her program doesn't offer a support system, so I've been trying to share my knowledge, my shoulder, my ear, my suggestions, and my love to her. Many of you sent cards and she still is tickled pink over the outpour of support from you!!
If you'd like to join Linda and I, let us know. We'll be leaving early in the AM, probably around 7:00 from West St Paul. We're headed to Thorp, Wis...about a 2.5 hour drive. Spending the day with her and then heading back so that we get home around 6:00 - 7:00.
Gloria could use some clothes...probably sizes 24 and below. I'm trying to get her to come up to Swapkins too, but right now, things are hanging. Linda and I will be stopping at Savers tonight to see if we can pick up some things for her.
