Doing good!
Life is still crazy here. I am still here reading but don't have the time to post like I would like to. I am down 91 lbs. That is so exciting. I would have never thought. Hubby and I have been having some relationship issues. It got to the point that I didn't know if we could save our relationship. We are going through joint counseling. I am also seeing a counseler individually. It seems to help. We are planning a long weekend up in Duluth at the end of September for our anniversary. It is an annual trip that we both look so much forward to.
Hope all are doing well.
Hope all are doing well.

Anita,
91lbs. is fantastic! Keep up the great work!
Sorry to hear that you and your husband are having difficulties. Long-term relationships can be so hard - I admire that the two of you care enough about yourselves and the relationship to try to work things out through counseling. It will either strengthen your relationship or it will help you feel more comfortable with your decision to end it if that's what it comes down to. Hopefully it will get stronger though - you've been through so much with the surgery already, losing a relationship would add another layer of stress even if you wanted to end it.
Enjoy your trip to Duluth! My husband and I went for our first time for our anniversary last year. I really liked the North Shore trip (we only spent 1 night in Duluth). When in Duluth we stayed at the Inn on Lake Superior. I will definately stay there again as it was beautiful there. For the rest of our trip we stayed at Blue Finn Bay which was really nice too, but didn't have the type of rooms that I wanted (I love having a King Size bed when I'm in a hotel). Where do you and your husband like to stay? I'd like to go back next summer and do a bike riding trip and all of the other things I felt I couldn't do last year due to my weight (more hiking, climb to the top of Split Rock lighthouse).

We have stayed different places. South Pier Inn for our Honeymoon. Awesome place on the other side of the life bridge. We have stayed at the Best Western Edgewater a few times. Last year and this year we are staying on the North Shore. Just a few miles outside of town. The place is called Beachway motel and cabins. It is very old but the price is right. The view is awesome and it is next to the new boat landing that was built last year. There is a walking pier right out onto Lake Superior across the street. The owners are real sweethearts. We are staying in a cabin this year. Everynight they have guests the owner does a campfire for the guests and sometimes there is live music if some one brings their guitar. We just enjoy the feeling there alot better then in the canal. The canal is to much hustle and bustle for us when we get away.
Can ya tell I love it up there!

Anita,
91 pounds is fabulous........By the way you looked great last Friday at Ruby Tuesday's. It was nice to meet You & Neal. It didn't show that you guys are having problems......I hope it all works out for the best......Going to counseling will hopefully help you guys decide what each of you wants in a relationship, etc.
