On Monday one of my closest friends passed away. He and his wife (and two kids) are from Oklahoma but he was working for Target so they have lived in Champlin since January. The funeral is in Oklahoma on Saturday so I'm going to be driving down there...leaving after spending a few hours at the FAIR on Friday It's a very sad time for his family and friends...I wish I could join in on the KIPS party because as I've mentioned here many times, I have a very soft spot for Irish Pubs and music...as well as a very soft spot for the friends that will be gathering there. But my softest spot is reserved now for my friend, his wife, kids, and all the others who will be making there way to OK from all over the country...he was very well liked, and I cannot tell you in words what he meant to me.

My heart goes out to you and your friends family! I bet he is smiling at you knowing how good of a friend you are. May you have a safe trip and cherish the memories you have with him.

You will be missed at Kipps, but I am so glad you are going to Casey's funeral... I think it's a trip you will never regret.
From someone who has lost a dear friend... I am so sorry for your loss.

Paul....I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your dear friend.
I will keep you and his family in my prayers as you go through this difficult time. This is just heartbreaking.
He sounds like he was a good person and will be missed by many.
Have a safe trip and let us know when you return.
Hugs, connie d
