Tomorrow is the big day!
I'm off to take my first pre-op shower, having just put clean sheets on the bed, per instructions.
I did a lot of 'nesting' today: three loads of laundry, cleaned my bathroom, packed my overnight bag.
Did a calming, focused labyrinth walk to center myself, and am ready! Boy, am I ready!
Surgery (RNY) is 1:30 pm at the U of M. hope to see Natalie there before she goes home!

Best wishes! I will be looking for you!
The nurses have all been wonderful here. I am enjoying the sunrooom at the end of the hall (and obviously the computer!) it's been a pretty easy and uneventful recovery for me, so far. I didnt sleep well last night, but that is normal for me- I always sleep horribly in hotels also.
If your surgery is at 1:30, I will start keeping an eye out for you early evening. My surgery was at 8:20 and I recall leaving the recovery room around 1:30. The first hour or so after that were kind of hazy.
Dr. I is awesome. I didnt see him more than a few mins. But he was very kind and concerned about questions I had.
See you soon!
Natalie
