Jumping the gun, but excited and had to share...

I just heard from my agency this afternoon, and they have a couple that is interested in me being their surrogate! I'm so thrilled to have the opportunity to do this again, so I'm hoping it's a good match. They live in Spain, so that will be a challenge (the potential language barrier mostly), but would be here for the birth, possibly the 20wk U/S and not sure if they'd be able to be here for anything else. I get their profile tomorrow to go over, then our conference call will be either Wed or Fri of next week.
BTW, my new avatar pic is of me sitting next to my surrobabe, Maya. I know you can't see her really, but trust me, she's just gorgeous!! She just hit 3mos and I'm starting to wean myself off the breast pump. I'll be done providing them w/breastmilk either the end of this week or next week....I'm feeling really meloncholy about that.

I'm working hard now on getting rid of those last 3lbs from the pregnancy and hopefully another 7lbs on top of that. I'd like to get back to matching my DL!! Still, I have to say that overall I'm proud that I've maintained my WL as well as I have. Still have to work at it as I've found ways to cheat myself, and it's a struggle to shut that part up sometimes.

How exciting that you mayh be a surrogate again!!  You are just an awesome person!  I hope the conference call goes well.  Hopefully they will provide you with an interpreter to cut down on the language barrier.  Hope to see you again soon!

You sure do sound excited. As someone who struggled to conceive, your role is so special to those parents. I don't think there is much of a greater gift a person could give. Is your surrobabe local? Do you get to see/hear about her often?

You can PM me if you want, but I see your most recent child was born 1.5 yrs after WLS. I'd be interested to know how the pregnancy & eating went after surgery.

Traci,  I think that this is fantastic.  I hope that everything goes well.  Babies seem to be a universal language.
