Wow?

Hi all! It's been a little while since I've posted, but I've been lurking a little. Anyway, I am now 3 weeks out and doing well. I've lost a total of 32 pounds and have been power walking a mile almost everyday. Well today I decided to see how far I could push myself and ended up power walking 2 miles! I couldn't believe I didn't feel like I was going to drop right there on the sidewalk! I did a 1/2 block cool down and when I got home, I still felt great!
It's also nice to feel my clothes getting bigger. Going to try to make it to MG coffee this Saturday, but may have a conflict as my niece is moving into the dorms this weekend and I am going along to help her unpack.
Hope everyone has a wonderful day!

Heidi

That's a major wow! It's so nice to notice when you can finally move for longer distances and not faint!

WooHoo Heidi!!!!  That is wonderful!  Way to go!  Isn't it amazing?  Think about how much weight 32 lbs really is!  and then imagine walking with a bag of bricks that weighs 32 lbs.  What an accomplishment!

Keep it up!

I'm going to be at MG coffee around 8:15.  So if you can squeeze in the moving and coffee, perhaps an earlier time will work for you.  I'd LOVE to see you!

I will keep the earlier time in mind. I have been getting conflicting information from my niece and my sister...so it's either going to be that we head for St. Cloud at 7am or not until 3pm. If it's the latter, I'll be there.
As for the pounds, I like to think of it in terms of hamburger. That's quite a pile! But I couldn't imagine doing the same walk with 32 pounds of anything on my back! Thanks for the kudos!

Heidi:

That is a major WOW.  No matter if it is weight lost, inches lost or stamina gained, you should be proud of your accomplishment.

Take care,

32 pounds - so here I go again... head to the dogfood aisle at your grocery store and hoist a big bag of puppy chow up on your shoulders.  THAT'S an eye opener for ya!!

CONGRATS - and it only gets better, baby!!!   See ya Saturday!!

Definitely a WOW!   Power walking 2 miles is fantastic!

Congrats on your clothes loosening up!  That's a great feeling--second only to them falling off!
