PRAYERS, Please?

Well, folks, it's the middle of August and I don't have a job yet. I have been sending out resumes and filling out job applications--even more than last time I posted this!

I sucked it up and called the Canadian version of Welfare, and after answering tons of questions was told I don't qualify for 'assistance'. The pensions I get from my husband gives me too mu*****ome (???). I can respect that--but I still have rent to pay at the beginning of the month-- for which I don't have income.  I don't think Quin has THAT good of a job to be able to be the main supporter. AAARRG!!

I did have a phone interview today about a job with Extendicare in St Louis Park. The guy SOUNDED satisfied with my answers and was going to check with the director of the facility to make an app't for me to meet with them towards the end of the week.  This did give me hope!  Stay tuned, kids!

BUT--please keep me in your prayers!  I'm trying to keep faith that God wouldn't have put me through 5 years of educating to poop out now....

Sue, you most CERTAINLY have my prayers!  Every night as I say them, I pause and really focus on "Thy Will Be Done".  In many ways, in MY mind, it all boils down to that.  Thy Will Be Done.  Now if the Man upstairs would be open to revealing his plan once in a while, that might calm the nerves for those of us awaiting His will!  But have faith, dear lady.  I just KNOW God has something really special in mind for you!

Sue - You know you have my prayers and the best happy thoughts I can give!  You are such a dear and I bet the Big Guy has the perfect job already lined up for you...  might just take a bit to get it... 

I do agree though, sometimes He has way more faith than we do...  but heck!  He already knows the outcome!  lol
