Monday weigh in.....where is our Troy?
WOW, LJ! You're really rockin' your tool! WTG!
I haven't jumped on my scale--I'm afraid to. I will admit to extreme stress with this 'no job' trauma--to which I have been responding with grazing (HECK--PIGGING OUT IS MORE TRUE) and not getting enough water in. You'd think with all the time I spend in the kitchen I'd be swilling back the H2O! Shame on me.
I WILL TRY TO GET AHOLD OF MYSELF ANd DO THE 'RIGHT' THINGS LIKE PROTEIN FIRST AND WATER WATER WATER.
maybe next week?

Thanks Mam!
You know you will feel so much better doing the 'right' thing! It is such great feeling.
On the other hand, you must be totally stressed out? UGH! Have you heard of the book The Shack? It is helpful to me when times get tough. If you like to read, you may want to pick up that book! Othewise, hang in there and things will get to where they need to be in your life soon! :O)

LJ, you are a sweetheart. I KNOW what I SHOULD be doing. 'The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak!'. ((Good excuse--the only one I have!))
I 'accidently' ordered the book The Shack --and what a blessing. It helped change my view of God the Father--which I needed because my father was a big jerk and a total abuser. ((Kelly--I so relate to you!!)) Also I needed help coping with my husband's death--even after 15 years. The book reinforced my idea that God has a person's life all planned out--so many years and that's all, that even evil can be used for good. We just don't see the Big Picture. And that forgiveness is mandatory--even if we think we cannot, God gives us the grace to do it.
So, I MUST believe that God will see me through it! (Just please God--soon!!!

Thank you for posting this.... to remind me that my path in life has already been determined by our Lord...during those times that I try to make it go the way I think it should go, I have to recenter and remember, like you said, the Big Picture....
I am not on the losers bench yet, but soon... lots to think about and prepare for...
Thank you... I find you and your strength, even in times of struggle to be an inspiration...
My prayers are with you during your job search...!! Nicole

Awww, gee, Nicole!
Thank YOU for your encouraging words. The frustrations and struggle are all part of the journey. Success after the struggle makes makes victory that much more meaningful.
I KNOW I've said this before, but I find it so true. My husband used to say 'that which doesn't kill us will only make us stronger'. The struggles and adversities that plague us are part of the strengthening process. ((It also makes us more diligent in seeking God. What parent won't respond to their child's plea for help?? Sometimes the parent's response might be that the kid has to figger it out for him/her self, or it might be like the calvary has to burst in with the whole army to save the day. And sometimes the parent will just hold the kid in a big hug until it's time to move on in quest for a solution to the problem))
Gee, I start waxing philosophic in the wee hours of the morning. Thank you for your prayers, Nicole! Now that I think of it--since God already knows what is going to happen re: job, I'm thinking that saying prayers for others' benefit must be for the benefit of the pray-er too! So, may the good Lord hold you in bear-hug!
