Aww Connie, I am so sorry you are having to go through this. I know how how this is, I myself am a cancer survivor of 6 years clean now. But mine was in my throat and I have this ugly hole in my neck to deal with for the rest of my life. Just keep on doing what you are doing and be there for him. I am sure you are doing all you can for him and he loves you for it. We are all here for you and please call on us when you need to.

Take care Richard

Thank you Richard for the kind words and support.

We will keep on fighting this evil monster. Nic nor any of us are going to let it win. One day Nic will be free of this horrible desease. Until then we won't give up the fight!

I am very happy that you have won your battle. A hole in your throat is a small price to pay in the overall picture of things. You are a SURVIVOR!!

Connie,

I am so sorry to hear about this spot and I imagine this is difficult for your entire family especially Nic.  I pray that Nic experiences healing of his body, mind and spirit an becomes even stronger than he was before this ugly monster of cancer.
Also sending prayer for you, Jamie and Grace for strength to see you all through during this difficult time.

God Bless,

Erika

Thank you Erika...your post is very reassuring.

We all know that God has a plan....all we can do is to hand it over to him and believe he will see Nic through this one day.We are blessed!

Connie-
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.  Cancer totally does SUCK!!  Have trust in the docs, and do what they say and hopefully, through God's grace Nic will be just fine.  Does he have a caringbridge site?    As a survivor I try to give encouragement to others, especially kids.
