OT....Nic's results......

Hi everyone....

I just came home from being with Nic at Children's Hospital in Minneapolis.

The spot we so hoped was nothing ended up being something after all. Now it is more chemo and all that goes with that!!! The doctor said that the last three rounds of chemo may have slightly shrunk the growth.
We are sad that Nic has to go through all this but we know we just have to keep praying and fighting this monster!!
The doctors have to go over the test results again and then send all the information on to Nic's doctor in NYC. Where we will go after that remains to be seen.

Jamie, Nic and Grace are headed back to Iowa and I miss them so much already!

So sorry to hear your news. How frustrating this must be for you and your family. One of my employees daughter has cancer and I know what a tole this is on the child and the family. Please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Thank you Angela...this really is a trying time. With the grace of God we will get through this. And of course all the love and prayers from this wonderful OH / MN family means so much to all of us.

I am so sorry that you and Nic and your family have to deal with this crap.  One of my coworkers has a button that explains it well "cancer sucks".    I've been following his caringbridge site and will continue to do so.

Thank you Kelly...I was going to call you when I was at the hospital today but then I was so upset I just wanted to get home.
I am going to try to make it to St. Cloud Coffee. I am not sure how long I will stay but I will try my best to be there.

OMG Connie, I just do not know what to say....I did send you a PM.......
When I have one of those 'bad days' I always think of what that young strong man is enduring....Makes my problems seem so small......
I pray that you and your family continue to find the strength that you need to get thru this, Again!!!
