WOW moment -- size 24 to a 16 in 3 months?!

I am so happy! I know all sizes are not created equal...... BUT...

I promised that I'd think about wearing capris to Valleyfair because it is summer out after all, but I haven't really worn anything but long pants in public for about 7 years.

I went shopping and got my regular size 20s.... they were too big. I tried 18 and they were decent, but not the right color. So I grabbed a 16 for ****s and giggles.... and they FIT!! Not snuggly.... but comfortably!

So needless to say... tomorrow... I will have 3 firsts in a long time:
-- Wear size 16s
-- Wear shorter pants in public
-- Wear a tank top

This journey is just full of WOWs. I feel slightly shallow being so excited about clothes, but when the sizes look so tiny to me but actually fit me, it's like an optical illusion!

Congrats! This is a huge WOW for you!!  This is not shallow at all. I bet you are on cloud 9 and flyn' high!!! Have a great time at VF tomorrow!!

I can relate on the optical illusion part but isn't wonderful when its not.....  enjoy your 3 firsts tomorrow and have fun at Valleyfair.  Sure wish I could have gone but it wasn't meant to be maybe next time.

Those are HUGE (pardon the pun) WOW's!! Congrats to you! I remember hitting those milestones and just crying w/joy. Truly a wonderful moment!

WOOHOO. I remember fitting in my 16's for the first time. I thin****pt looking at the tag to make sure they were for real.

I understand what you mean about the 16's.... I bought a pair of lee rider black shorts the first few months after surgrey.....size 16.... I figured If I made it into them... I would be THRILLED. Took me quite a while... but I did it... and now... they are to big for me......Never dreamed that would happen...

And trust me... the fascination with clothes is just beginning.... remember.. your gonna be dropping more sizes... and as you do.... your wow moments will become numerous.... and wonderful.
