OT: Please keep the Qwest employees in your thoughts...
My DH works for Qwest and their contract is up tomorrow night. At this point, a strike is not out of the question and the workers are quite concerned and worried.
I know not everyone likes their service, but they actually are a decent employer and they are currently setting up the communications for the Republican National Convention, which is where DH is today.
If you can spare a good thought or prayer, much appreciation from us to you!

I'll definitely be thinking of your DH and your family. I used to work for Qwest for approx. 5yrs. They are a good employer. My mom actually works for the union your DH belongs to, so I will definitely be in the know as things unfold. She's been putting in a ton of OT lately gearing up for this. Hopefully there will not be a strike. If they're contracted for the RNC phone service a strike would be so detrimental, I sure hope it doesn't come down to that.
