Big Thank you!
I just wanted to say a big "Thank You" to all of you who were at the PNC Support Group last night. I was really beating myself up over my choices from the past couple of weeks and you all helped me to see that I needed to be kinder to myself. Also Karen thank you, thank you, thank you for the cute periwinkle skirt I tried it on this morning and it fit! I was so shocked. It does give me a bit of a muffin top so I layered a sweater over my short lseeved shirt and I was good to go! I went out and bought some good, healthy food including some pineapple and mango that I hadn't really had in quite some time. I have planned some meals for this weekend at my parents and will be packing a cooler full of food for my weekend visit in the hopes that I can make good choices this weekend.
Nicole,
You have come so far.
I see this as a life long task and hopefully the good days will out number the bad. Keep a positive attitude.
One comment that I heard last night that has stuck with me is that we are all struggling. No one is special. It really helps me to know that we all struggle.
I also like Barbs analogy with the boat. Stay on course. If you veer off a little, get back on course. I'm not the only one in a boat all alone in the middle of the ocean lost at sea, I have friends paddling along side me.
Love yourself. That's what matters most.

I am so happy it fits you!!!!! It just looked like a pretty Nicole skirt. I hope you get lots of compliments on it. Ant that HOT HOT Black Lace Ali handed you!!! WHOO HOO you are gonna be smokin.
You are doing fantastic. Planning and taking food for your needs to your parents is a great idea. That way you can sit and eat with them, but still meet your needs. I should take my own advice better hhmmmm.
Have a great weekend at the parents and I hope your dad's knees are healing well.

I believe you can do this! Kudos to you for taking accountability with your eating habits. Taking accountability for bad habits is not easy. And remember- only you have the power to feel how you feel. It's in your hands only. You CAN make this tool work for you.
Keep us posted how the weekend goes!
