hey everyone..
i am doin good.. sipping and walking.. sipping and walking. i was out of it on monday and don't remember much except asking everyone if they had to open me up haha! i have been walking a lot but i do have pretty bad gas up in my rib cage.. and it hurts. my mom got my laptop today.. so it's nice to connect with everyone again. i am hoping to go home tomorrow.. i did have blood in my bm but they think it's old since it's a copper color (maybe tmi) sorry! i can do apple juice but i do dump on grape juice.. not a fun feeling. dr.lenz has been great.. he checked on my 4 times yesterday and 2 times so far today. the staff here are amazing, although i don't enjoy the getting up almost every 2 hours at night. i can't wait to go home and be back in my own element. well i am going to take a walk.. talk to you al later. take care and thanks for everything.

p.s thanks brea for giving updates..

CONGRATS on making it to the other side!!!  And on doing your walking and sipping - the gas is a DRAG, but for me it was gone in about a week or so.  (would you not KILL to pass the mother of all FARTS right about now???)

Anyway, keep on doing what you need to do, and we'll be watching for your first WOW moment before too long!

Congrats on doing well and getting your journey started. It's hard not to be "connected" even for a few days, don't you think? After having my daugher via c-section, I had pictures emailed MYSELF from the hospital within hours. LOVE technology. Hope the gas pains go away sooner than later, they SUCK! Will they give you anything for that? I requested gas-x and stool softener as much as was ok to take from the DR, I didn't want to deal with either issue. Are you allowed those medications post WLS? Anyone? Bueller, Bueller?
