Thanks, Connie!

I appreciate your prayerful support so much!  Wish I was there for a REAL, rather than cyber, hug!

Tracy is a sweetheart!  I'm printing off right now the material she sent that should help me out.

Applications are hard and interviews are harder. Here is the biggest things I can suggest,

Be as honest as possible in the resume, of course make yourself shine but be honest.

When you are talking to them on the phone or in the interview, be yourself. That is where most of the trouble comes in for people I think is they try to be what the employer wants them to be or what the person thinks the employer wants them to be but you will be so much more relaxed if you are just yourself.

And finally, grab a friend or a family member and practice interviews. You can find plenty of info on the internet for what they are looking for in a certain position so go ahead and role play the itnerview. And as much as it helps to be in the position of trying to get the job, make sure to change it and play the employer also, this helps you to see how the other person is acting and that way you can notice better what you are doing in areas such as posture, eye contact, hand movements, etc.

Thanks for some great advice, Allanah!

The experts say to 'toot your own horn' and brag on yourself, but I'd be afraid of going overboard and building up a false image I could never meet!

Just not too secure in my own abilities, I guess.
