Good Saturday morning my friends!  BOY!  Does it EVER feel good outside this morning!  I have been sipping my coffee in the swing and it feels WONDERFUL!!  So cool and crisp!  What a nice surprise compared to the HEAT!

What cha got planned today?  Our Youth have a Window Wash and Bake Sale going today to raise money for Winterfest 2009 which will be here before you know it.  We have made up to $600.00 in 3 hours of work time.  I pray we double that today!  IN JESUS' name!  I will be driving back and forth checking on them.  Gotta make sure they stay ok!

What are you doing today?  I wanna hear of some fun things going on too!  I know there are a group of coffee folks meeing in Maple Grove!  I sure wish I were going!  I mean that too!!!  You guys are a lot of fun.  Us South Bama Folks need to do some coffee meetings on Saturdays!!  When Lucy gets here, you can believe we will be doing some.  She's already let me know this.  HEHEHEHEHE

I can't tell all of you how much I love this woman.  She means so much to me and my kids.  Last week did something wonderful in our hearts.  Torey has even changed his entire outlook on things because of that trip.  Allison has her Momma Lucy chats now.  LOL  I love it.  Enough rambling!

So, what cha sipping on this moring?  What's your plans for today?  We wanna hear!

Mornin' Mr. Sunshine!

I'm about headed to go downstairs and brew me some Highlander Grogg then I can head out on the front porch and sip away. It is cool here this morning, too and I love sleeping with the windows open during these kinds of nights/early mornings, does feel good. Plus I love the nature sounds!

First, we are headed to the hospital to visit our dear friend LindaAnne who had surgery yesterday, the we are taking our boys to the Star Wars exhibit at the Science Museum. They are SO looking forward to it. I'm sure I'll learn a ton as I only know a few of the characters names, whether I want to or not. hehee Then we'll stop by the in-law's for a quick visit on our way back home. Then in the evening, I'm going to a pool party with some local DS'ers and that is always a good time!

Wishing you & your's a wonderful weekend and praying for the fundraiser today!

Randall,

I know that you have not met me yet, but I am Michael and am from Burnsville, MN.  I have surgery on Monday August 18th.  Congrats on your relationship with Lucy.  Best wishes to you both!

You asked what we are up to today.  I did go to one of those wonderful coffees in Eagan and met some great people.  It is so nice to be able to network with people out there.  Great to be able to share stories.

Hope you are having a great day!

Well, I didn't get a chance to check in until now.  Today was the family reunion for my dad's side of the family in River Falls, WI (just across the boarder) and it was a magnificent day for a picnic!  I played kick ball with the kids and had a blast!  I have found that I want to be active now because I know that just a year ago I would have never been able to do it.  After the picnic we caravaned back up to Hinckley where my sister and her family and my other sister are all staying for the weekend.  Because my dad wanted to stop at a baseball game on the way back my grandma rode back with me in my new car and to my suprise there was no complaining or negative comments in fact she was very nice to me the whole trip, albeit 1/2 the trip she was sleeping but my grandma is a very picky person and for her not to complain is a huge thing.  I was suprised when she said I could turn up the radio and found she liked the radio station I listen to which plays contemporary Christian music.  Now we are just getting the kids put to bed then we are all gonna just hangout and spend some QT with each other.

I think it is wonderful that the kids have taken to Lucy so well and that you can see changes in them because of it.

Hope you had a good day and made lots of money for your event!
