I know I've shared with a few people on here that I met my husband through a personal ad I posted in the Star Tribune 12 years ago. This was just as online dating and Instant Messenging via AOL was starting. I met lots of losers, and wasn't safe as far as where I met some people, but it turned out great. Just remember single ladies, you'll meet your share of not right for you guys, but don't give up. Today's technology and match making sites are FAB! Keep us posted Laurie.

Have fun! (He is a looker!)   It's scary, isn't it??!  I have a "meeting" next week myself with a guy I met on a dating site...I am working myself up to the point that I want to cancel!  It has been a while since I've been in the dating scene and I just don't know if I'm up to it! 

And I agree, you can never have too many friends, so if the important things don't mesh, don't settle for anything less than what you're looking for.

Yes, it is scary! I have been fretting over what to wear on Friday since last Friday...YIKES!  I bet you will have fun on yours this week - good luck with that - and you keep us informed, too!
