DATE!

Ok, I have a coffee date next Friday at 2:00 with a guy I met on Match.com....YIKES!  We have a lot of things in common, but some key things are not in sync...so I told him over email that even if it doesn't go on to more than friends, that is good because you can never have too many friends in life....

I don't know if I will be patient enough...I'm already trying to think of what I am going to wear to work that day....

He is a cutie...I will send him your way if it doesn't work for us.  And if it doesn't work for us, hopefully he will have some single friends that ARE Christian (one of the BIG sticking points) that he can introduce me to!

I couldn't get his photo to load on my slow computer.    I'll have to check it out from home.  Laurie, I think it's fantastic that you're going out.  It's always good to get out and meet new people regardless of how it turns out.  You won't meet Mr. Right sitting on your patootie at home.  I hope that the two of you have a very enjoyable time. He certainly should, you're a blast!

Yep, sitting at home feeling sorry for myself doesn't get me out there to meet Mr. Right (or even Mr. Right-Now)

I hope we do have a good time...thanks for the compliment - I like to have fun - life is too short to not have fun when you can (like last Sat. at the OH event).

Wow!  Good for you!  I wish I could get a date! LOL!  I suppose I actually have to get out there and look.  Why wont Mr. Right just come and knock on my door?? LOL!

Nope - he doesn't (usually) just show up at the door - although I do have a friend that met her husband like that - he had gone in the ditch by her house and knocked on the door to use her phone (before cell phones were so popular!).
