Thank you Connie!  It is an odd mixture of emotions, but there is even some joy to be found in the sadness.

Wonderful post Christi.  I think everyone can relate to pieces if not all of your post and there is a freedom in verbalizing those thoughts.  You are a beautiful woman who will never forget where you came from and never lose sight of where you want to be.  YOU ARE AMAZING!!!!!!

Thank you so much!  It means so much to me, too, to have this board to come to with these moments and my thoughts.  REading al these graceous responses is another experience of joy to add to my list of blessings.

What a great BEST DAY EVER ! How exciting to fit into sizes you've been dreaming about and having SO many choices that fit (and look good) to choose from. What a great positive, excited outlook you have. Congrats, you've done great!

How cool is this!!

First off, you're the 'hot new chick' no one recognises, and then you fit into 'skinny normal' clothes!

WTG!    You're doing an awesome job, Christi!

And I do agree whole-heartedly that descrimination against fat people sucks.  But that's life....

Thank you Sue.  It's kind of fun to be the "hot new chick,' and maybe a little scary, too.  It's so much work relearning how to shop, and daring myself to go into all these stores that used to be off limits.  I'm not buying cause I intend to shrink some more, but it's fun to look and try things on.
