I WOULD love to come to Bama and help...!!  Sadly I am spent on vaca time and with an upcoming surgery, I cant be gone anymore that I should..  I had mentioned to Jackie that maybe I would drive on down while I was recovering and she made me rethink that as I probably wont feel up to riding in a car...  But a plane.....  UUUUUMMMMMM...  Me thinkie on that one..

Love ya Brother!!  Have fun with the kiddos!

Today I called into work.  Have been fighting a terrible headache.  Also, having problems sleeping today.  Just goign to lay around most of the day.  This afternoon I am headed up to St. Cloud to stay at my parents.  Tomorrow I have a funeral, a neighbor of my parents.  Then hopefully spend a few hours with my hubby before he has to head off to work tomorrow night.  He has worked 13 days in a row and haven't seen him much.  Sunday I think we are possibly going to head to the MN landscape arbertaum and maybe Dave and Busters for an us day!  We sure need it.  Looks like a beautiful day out.

Sounds like everyone has some fantastic weekend plans!  Patti, your long weekend sounds so busy it makes me exhausted just thinking about it - but it will be a blast!

Me, I'm going to work extra late tonight.  I'm still a little behind from the surgery recovery and I want to get myself caught up and squared away so that I can feel comfortable searching for another job (wouldn't want to leave this one with past due work)!

Tomorrow, I might go to MG coffee if I can get DH to get up that early AND come to coffee with me.  We live in W. WI and have plans at noon in Minnetonka so if I go to coffee, he'll have to come along.  I hope that would be OK - but I doubt I'll be able to get him to get up that early anyway.  Coffee or no, I want to look at some furniture tomorrow (trying to find some dining room chairs possibly) and then we go to our friends' house at noon and stay through the evening.  They don't know that I've had surgery (never got around to telling them) so they'll be surprised.

Sunday, I want to do some cleaning, work on my resume and maybe go see Dark Knight with DH.  That's been on the agenda for a few weeks and hasn't happened yet so I hope that we squeeze it in this weekend.

Everyone enjoy their plans!  Vikings fans, I hope you enjoy your game this weekend.  Me, I'm not a football fan except for Packers (by birth) and I'm just disgusted with Favre.  What a weinie...retired a hometown hero, now looks like an idiot.  Have to root for the Bills too as DH is a die-hard fan (from Niagara Falls) - have an entire Bills room in our house!

Oh Dana my husband didnt' sleep much at all last night.   He get soooooo excited for the first football game...heck for every football game.     I am planning to do my grocery shopping etc... tonight and will take the little beastly with me so he can watch the game in peace and quiet.   I am officially a football widow now for the season.    Oh well!   Our church has discussed getting a big screen tv so we can have football parties after church on Sun.....I hope it happens soon cuz then at least I can get some socialization while he's watching the game.

WOW!   So many busy weekends!

Tonight, the fambly is watching the Opening Ceremony for the the Olympics (or "Olympikicks", as Bailey used to say!). Kinda surprised how much I'm looking forward to that!

Tomorrow is MG coffee (hoping to nearly get run over by a certain gold Lexus again!?), grocery shopping, and maybe a bit of pool time.  I need to get in that sucker again to scoop out all the nasty bug carcasses that appear to have settled on the bottom!  ugh...

Sunday - I may just sleep in a bit, then me & Bailey will start doing some school clothes shopping - POSSIBLY accompanied by a certain Russian beauty, before we hit the Cyril Paul (?) concert in Eden Prairie!  I do love me some Caribbean/steel drum music!  It helps me imagine I'm surrounded by warm breezes, aqua blue waters, palm trees, and rum punch!!!
