Need some advice..13 lbs in 2 months......
Congratulations on hitting ONEderland!! WTG!! (And would you have joined us in ONEderland if you had not had WLS? Look how far you've come!)
Are you keeping track of what you eat? If you're not getting enough protein you can stall, from what I understand. ALSO--WATER, WATER, WATER! This is very important!
Other than that--glad to see you again!

Not regularly, but I buy the bag of frozen meatballs. Thaw, put into crock pot with your choice of pasta sauce, then after several hours put shredded low-fat mozzarella into it. I do not eat bread nor pasta, and freeze these in individual freezer containers. I even make this with extra-lean ground beef (not made into meatballs) and add chopped zucchini! Wonderful!
Do you like fresh-from-the-garden peas? Someone had turned me on to Edamame last year--I get the frozen bags in the organic/whole foods freezer section at Cub. (Be sure to get the 'shelled', not the ones in pods!) It's high protein, and nummy just frozen, thawed, and especially nuked 30 seconds with Molly McButter (and I use a titch of garlic powder) sprinkled over it. Mmmmmmm! I'm now having Greek Edamame salad as I speak (type): Mostly edamame, some sundried tomatoes, red onion, black olives, feta cheese all blended with a little olive oil, red wine vinegar, and balsam vinegar.MMMMMmmmmmmmm!
I always carry high protein meal replacement bars: the best being Atkins (NOT the breakfast bars, the meal replacement) for 17 g protein, and the Met-RX Protein Plus bars-32g protein!
I always carry roasted soy nuts which I purchase in the bulk section Cub foods--they're available in plain, roasted, honey-roasted, and BBQ!
You also may want to do the 5DPT, which will definitely get a person back on track after stalling.
Okay, hopefully everyone's suggestions will benefit all of we losers! Takecare of you, be gentle with yourself! Oceans of love and hugs galore, Patti Hey, sure hope you can join the mob at ValleyFair Fri. Aug. 15--the screaming and walking will sure catapult a significant drop!

Lisa Joy,
First....You are doing great. You are losing over 1.5 pounds per week. 1.625 to be exact cause I'm the numbers girl. You will go through phases when you lose 4 pounds in 1 week and then some weeks nothing. I went 3 weeks without a loss and then lost 6 in the next 2 weeks. When I was in a stall I tracked my food in the Daily Plate and watched the Protein, carbs and fat. My body and head have always had a hard time with carbs. The more I eat the more I want. Make sure you're not eating too many. Most of my carbs are from fruits and veggies. Tried some Light Italian Bread, Actually had a BLT and it was awesome. Made it with 2 slices of diet bread toasted and could only eat 1/2 of the bread but ate all of the insides. If you go the Farmers Market in Mpls. there is a guy from Gaylord that sells pork and it's the best. I get his breakfast sausages and cottage bacon (so super lean) and they are to die for.
I also make sloppy joes without the bun but you could use just the bottom half if you do eat bread. Last night I had tuna, pickles and mircale whip and mixed it with diced cucumbers and tomatoes.....yummy. If I eat things I really like I find I'm much more satisfied. Grab one of your favorite cookbooks and modify things to match your new lifestyle.
You are doing GREAT Lisa Joy and the weight will come off..My doctor always tells me it's not a race to get there, it's better for the skin if it takes a little longer.

Good , good advice. I know it's not a race, but sometimes I get caught up in wanting to be further along. I'm better now.....even after a few hours, it feels okay...actually it all feels great.
I always LOVE the food ideas you send my way. YUMO......I will copy tuna, pickles...deal and make a trip to the farmers market. That's on sat.????? Thanks so much for caring!

I will give you the same advice that I did Lindaq and it seemed to work. I would really look at the carbs and see what you are really eating. It seems like you are doing a great job of exercising and are still losing. Remember protien first and stay away from all the crackers and such becasue white flower is the devil. I would also look at the fact that maybe you are possibly eating the same and the smae amount of food and maybe you should try an experiment of trying to increase the amount of protien that you intake that just might jumpstart your weight loss better. I know that increasing is scary but if you add some cheeese sticks or jerky ( watch the sodium) that I'll almost bet things will be better.
Good Luck
Jim
