Hello Lisa Joy.....
I agree, change up your menu some. Our bodies get in a rut sometimes. Remember protein first....always. The denser the protein the better.
I still, at almost 1 year out do not eat bread, rice or pasta. I have definately learned new eating habits. I really focus on the protein, veggies and fruit. I am not saying my way is the right way, it is just right for me.
Have you tried a pork tenderloin yet?? I could never eat por****il I made this. I uasually just put it in the crockpot and cook it slowly. It is so juicy and yummy. I make stir fry quite often too...you can use any meat in that. I have been using alot more turkey lately. Nice change fron chicken.
You will start dropping pounds again soon. hang in there. You look like you have lost alot more weight then that!
Hugs, connie d

I hear you Lisa with the weight loss slowing down......Just stick with the program and it will come off...I am in the same boat as you, but all of a sudden last week I lost 3 pounds....But I had some other issues to deal with to.
I just wanted to share a new form food I found!! They are Fahita chicken strips. you getthem inthe frozen food section and just microwave what you want for a meal. 3-4 oz is like 20 grams pf protein. I LOVE them because they are already seasoned and ready for anything. You can eat them alone with a dipping sauce if you want or put them in a salad, YUMMY!!! The brand I got is Food Club and they are very good!!!! Its like a 3 pound bag, so its gonna last a while.
Good Luck and you are doing a great job and look fantastic!!!

My suggestion? Keep looking for the positive - you are DOWN 13 pounds! That's great!
You are maintaining your support by attending coffees and participating on OH - that can only be good, because it shows you are staying dedicated to your goal!
You ARE a smaller person to begin with, so your loss WILL be slower - if you kept up with those of us who started this journey 300# +, you'd be sicker than a dog! The IMPORTANT THING is that you are losing - slow and steady wins the race!
I have held on through a couple of LONG non-losing streaks. Discouraging? OF COURSE IT IS! But only to the extent you let it be - if you recognize that your body needs periods of time to adjust to the new, smaller you, it's easier to keep on keepin' on. I couldn't drop below 230 for EVAH! This morning? FINALLY!!! 229!!!
