I am 4.5 months out.  When I left work for summer vacation on June 4th I weighed 204.  Today I weigh 191.   This seems like such a small amount of weight loss.  I know, we are losing inches even when the scale isn't moving, but it doesn't really seem like it. I am wearing the same clothes from the beginning of the summer and they are no looser on me.  Please give me some tips..... Thanks!

LJ,

I thnk your WL has been great........

Not to much advice here......At 4.5 months is when my WL started dropping.........I'm 7 months out now and have been maintaining or loosing up to 5 pounds a month.......

Try mixing up what you eat, sometimes the body gets used to the same foods.....Add more protein.....Mix up your workout......

Good luck.....Kelly

Kelly,
Are you saying yor wl slowed down at aout this time?  Sure is for me.    You know, I feel so good. But the childish part of me just wants to go back to school in the fall and hope people notice.  I kinda was thinking I'd be much smaller.  Like 170ish.  :O(     Or atleast down to a size 10.  I should not put these thoughts in my minds.....but I did.

Can you give me some protein ideas?  I am really stuck in this area.  Can we say chicken/cheese/tuna.....UGH!

Thanks so much for your advice!   :O)

I don't think they taste bad.... It's like drinking a thick koolaid.....I just drink 1oz. at a time, it takes about 5 minutes to drink. But you get your protein in alot quicker and it fills me up. I drink this then eat breakfast. I'm full till lunch.....

Hi Lisa,
I've slowed down a lot too.  Remember, we're light weights so it's going to slow down and come off slower at some point.  Just keep making good decisions and good habits for the future.  I keep reminding myself that I just need to follow the program and it will happen.
Kelly gave me a great bf idea...Jimmy Dean D-lite breakfast sandwich - 18g pro.  It's made with ww eng. muffin, egg white, turkey sausage & cheese.  Just toss one of the muffin halves....its pretty good for a change.  I also found Quaker weight control oatmeal is good too.
