Hugs, hugs, hugs! Great to meet you in MN!

Hi there. Yes, three men were there; a total of forty three people attended. Typically, the majority of attendees are female (which is why we create the door prizes for women), but we always make men a special offer: they get the gift bag AND a special gift certificate for men. :)

 
I called OH's customer service multiple times and could not find out if any men were scheduled to attend.  I left phone messages that were NOT returned. OH has a history of being very male uncaring. I am tired of it. There are very wonderful & caring women who work for the different clinics here and there are fantastic women that have gone through the process. I just feel when a person goes out of their way over a MONTH to find out if any other men were coming it would have not have been too difficult to provide the information. I did not want to  pay an amount of money that is a lot for me right now  and be the only man there. A LIITLE courtesy would have been nice.

I want to add my appreciation to OH for having had this summit and having the opportunity to meet and connect w/so many incredible people. To think that I almost didn't go and was so nervous because I didn't know anyone. Everyone was so welcoming and supportive. I had chills listening to all of your stories and getting to hear your WOW moments. You are all an inpsiration to me and I look forward to being more active on the boards again.

I've never posted pics on here before, but am going to try to see if I can figure it out!

I have to agree with everyone and send a great big Thank You to Kathy and Joanna for a wonderful evening.  I'm much more of a lurker - but try to offer thoughts/prayers/support when I can.  But not knowing anyone didn't stop me from coming and I have to say I had a great time!

Hearing everyones stories was a great experience.  It weird to think how one little thing that we all share (surgery) can bring all of us so close together!  Everyone truly was an inspiration!  Thanks again!

Hello Kathy!  It was just fantastic finally meeting both you and Joanna  yesterday!  Thank you both SO MUCH  for allowing us to experience the the amazing supportive, celebratory event! Was a huge blessing, meeting, reacquainting and sharing time and conversing with so many peers !  My only regret was needing additional time to meet and mingle!  You sure knew what you were doing by offering the Caribou treats, getting us 'caffeined' up  for the big ride!    .  Oceans of love and hugs galore, Patti ('yeaaah, fer shir, you bet'cha!)

Hi Patti. I am so glad you were able to join us and that you had such a good time. We did too and I agree, more time to chat would have been nice. I would have liked to spend more time with every table....but you know what this means? We will have to come back soon! :)

Hi everyone! I know I don't post on the Mn board too often, however, I had to pop on to say what a great time I had on Saturday. It was fun to meet so many of you and hear all those inspiring personal stories. It was time well spent.
