Hugs, hugs, hugs! Great to meet you in MN!

Hi all. Joanna and I just got back to the hotel after our fabulous evening with you all and I have to say, that was probably our best event of the year! You were all so warm and so loving. I was thrilled to hear your WOW moments and especially touched by the stories of our angels: Traci, Kim, Liz, Patti, Nicole, Dianne, Jean, Deb, Nancy, Sandi, Tiffany, Laurie. I hope we will see you all soon and both Joanna and I hope you'll stay in touch.

Thank you Kathy, and Joanna too, for a fantastic evening last night!  I haven't been to a coffee or any other event with OH people before and I felt really comfortable meeting all of the new people.  Kathy, your session on relationship styles was great and I was really excited to talk with my husband about it last night.  He said he would like some information on ways to get me to change my style from acts of service/gifts to physical.  Hmmm, I think he may need the session with you. 
I loved hearing everyone's inspirational stories and I thank everyone that shared about their journies and their successes!

I personally want to thank Patti for being so welcoming at the beforehand coffee and offering a hug - that was fantastic.  Tracy, it was nice to meet someone else who works with Dr. Lederer (now I know 3 others - you, Paul, and Therese).  Diane, I appreciate you inviting me over to the table that you were sitting at - I'm sorry that Gordon wasn't in town as planned, but selfishly I am really glad that I had the opportunity to meet you - you are a lot of fun!  Laurie, I really enjoyed talking with you and someone else that lives in WI - I'm really going to try to make the Osceola coffee at least once a month.  Your story is so inspirational too.  Stephanie and Jerry - it was nice to meet you too - Stephanie you look fantastic and it's so great to see someone doing so well 3 years post-op and Jerry, it was great to see a supportive spouse there (I told my DH when I got home and he said he might go to the next one).  Mary, it was great to meet you too and I hope that  you've decided to join the OH community now that you've been to the event!  It was good meeting other people as well that I didn't get to meet as much as I would have liked - I hope to see you again soon at a coffee or someplace else that we can talk more in depth!

Awwwww!  You're so sweet ;  thank you for your kind words hon!  You're looking fab and will continue to'work it' girl friend!  So glad you were there --just too bad there had'n't been more time to chat  and mingle!  Looking forward to seeing more of you!  Oceans of love and hugs galore, Patti

Kathy, it was fabulous to meet you and Joanna, and so many of the OH people from the board!  I feel very blessed that OH is here and offers so much support to all of us.  The feeling there last night was so warm and the stories were inspiring-I hope we can have OH out here for a full conference in the near future-cause it would be a blast!! 
Travel home safely and know that you and Joanna are always welcome to pop in and meet up with us here in MN-

I couldn't get my question answered ahead of time, but were ANY men there?  I realize many more females seem to have WLS but the program format did not seem to have anything with men in mind. Even the door prize was for a female. Oh well, I am glad the women did have a good, you all deserve it.
