MOA OH Event 8/2/08

Hello everyone from the OH event!

I want to say THANK YOU - I have never been to an event, nor have I been to a support group - but I am very glad I went last night - met some great people - Nancy, Cara, Doug, Joanna, Patti, Liz, Lauren (wow - Rhode Island!), Sweet lady with the Red/White shirt (hair similar to mine - I am bad with names - sorry!), Tracey, Colleen...etc.  It was very inspiring to meet everyone and hear I am not alone in the journey - see you at group! :)

I am planning to go to the LA event at the end of October - hopefully we can travel together if anyone else is planning to go...CA in October?  Heck yeah!

Thanks, Joanna for organizing everything - the coaster ride (yeah, Spongebob!) was a trip!

Thanks, Kathy for the talk, even though the only relationship I am in right now is with my 2 cats - who, by the way are the "Physical Touch" kind - lap cats! 

Thanks to Liz and Sandy for opening the floor so we can hear that we are truly NOT alone and even though we have small setbacks, there IS Hope and we shouldn't give up.

I had too many Angels last night to vote for - thanks for the encouragement and inspiration!

Hope it was great to meet you last night on the roller coaster-what a blast!

I hope that you will find yourself meeting with your group and having lots of fun-it really does help to have some face to face time in a support group, even though OH on line is a life saver too-

Anytime you find yourself with an excuse to come to the cities, let us know so we can find a way to meet up and chat-we are always meeting for coffee and such down here, and have a blast meeting with old/new friends from OH!

oh yeah, and feel FREE to post any funny stuff, ms Comedienne!!  I love to laugh!

I hope to get something lined up (show-wise) in your neighborhood in the future.  Will let you know when, or you can check my website - it's been a slow summer, but it usually is for comedy - who wants to be INSIDE?  My website is www.hoperiska.com - I have to update it - I just got a gig in Coon Rapids for Sept 21.

Hope to see y'all soon!  My head is still pounding from the "pads" on the coaster!  Fun, but I hate the "head banging" on the hard pads!
