Eat pie, lose weight?!

What the heck??

I have been stuck at about 257lbs for 2 weeks or so.

So last night, I go to Baker's Square and eat stir-fry, rice, and a pie with ICE CREAM. I figured... whatever, I am not losing  anyway so might as well try to change things up.

This morning -- the scale says 255.8lbs. What the HECK??

Maybe changing things up helped? Or that I ate way more calories than usual? I have been skimping on calories lately. THOUGHTS???

You're probably just at stall and you're probably losing inches instead of weight.

Doctors and Nuts tell us to change what we're eating to "shock" the system again and to get the metabolism going. That's probably what happened. You may have been starving yourself.

Please spay and neuter your pets!

Elena~Remember what Barb said at the PNC support group last week.....we need to keep our caloric intake up because after a while of the severely reduced calories our metabolism realizes what is going on and slows down.  I would say you may wont to take a closer look at what you are eating and make sure it is enough, remember we can't rely on that old dieter mentality anymore (I know easier said than done).  Hope this helps and I am glad you broke through your stall!

Hi Elena....remember high in protein.....a few veggies and tons of water!!

The stalls have happened to us all. Don't resort back to old eating habits.....you are only hurting yourself sweetie!!
