Today is the day... I meet Gorden!!!!

Hello everyone!!!!!!!!!

As many of you know.... I have waited for this day for quite a while......I am excited, happy......and yes very nervous.....

I want to ask a favor from everyone who knows me.

I have told Gorden about all of my wonderful friends on here....Even sent him a copy of the picture from the engagement coffee for Randall and Lucy.....

He has asked me if I have told my friends about him...

I am going to show him this post later tonight... and the responses.......

Please help me in welcoming him, tell him if I have talked about him at all.....LOL.. that one should be easy... and for those of you close to me... tell him of the good changes you have seen in me.......

Hey Gordon--you're all Diane talks about here!  I've met Diane is person only once, but I feel I know her pretty well from her postings here. She is quite the gal!  You'll be hard pressed to find a sweeter, gentler, kinder soul.

Enjoy your time in Minnesota, ya shur! (Ask Diane to explain that one!)

Hope your Mom is getting better from her heart atttack. And you're one great son to fly half way around the world to be by her side.  That shows the kind  of person YOU are!

I know you have waited for this day........All our conversations on, "Is this for real? Is this happening to me?" Well it's finally here.......I'm nervous and excited for you......I hope the best for both of you........I have seen such a change in your moods since you've been talking to Gorden......Your much happier and content in life........You know me, I don't know what to think....I fell in love the day I met my hubby....So I can't judge anyone or any cir****tance.....

Hi Gordon!  Welcome to Minnesota!  I hope that you enjoy your time here with Diane.  I don't know her, but she seems very excited about the time that she has spent with you online and on the phone and she's even more excited about meeting you in person.

To both Diane and Gorden, I hope that meeting each other exceeds all your hopes!  I can only imagine how nervous you both must be - may neither of you have any regrets, only a wonderful time!

And Gorden, I have to second the notion that you MUST be good people, to fly all the way to Italy to be with your mother...  I'm glad she's doing well enough for you to feel comfortable leaving her.

I'm SOOOOOO excited for both of you.  I hope that this meeting is all (and more) that you want it to be.

Both of you - be careful and don't rush things - meeting in person is still different than chatting on the phone and on line, and I have come to care about both of you. Yes, Gordon, even you - just because of all the wonderful things that Diane has had to say about you - and because she cares about you. 

Diane - you have my digits if you need them - not that you will, but if you want to call and let me know how things are going, that would be good too!

If you guys get a chance to stop at MOA on Saturday afternoon, I will be there about 3:00 and would LOVE to get to meet the person that has changed Diane's life around!

Hello Diane and Gorden, I'm thrilled to pieces for you guys, that his mother's doing well enough that he's able to come to beautiful Minneso-tah, 'ya fer shur, 'ya betcha!  Just a little Minnesota talk!  I totally agree with everyone's comments:  Diane is the real thing--whatcha see is what you get!  You're both 'good people' and I would love to be a fly on the wall following you all over,  though am confident you'll have a marvelous time here and will truly make the most of it!  This is SO AWESOME, I'm way excited for both of you!  Oceans of love  and hugs galore, Patti
