OT: this is such a good day!
Today in the mail I got my acceptance letter into Metro State University in St. Paul!!! I will be persuing the Professional Writing major and getting a Bachelor's of Art degree when I graduate!
Hopefully I'll be done before I turn 40
(that's 8.5 years to go OMG).
But yes! January is when I will start, which oddly enough they call Spring Semester. Honey, we don't even usually GET a spring, much less it being in January! But I digress.
YAY for me!!

I've enjoyed my Psych classes very much, and I am still interested in it, but I just don't feel that it's my calling. I really think I need to concentrate on an area that will allow me more physical activity, cause I despise sitting behind a desk all day, and perhaps that involves the outdoors. I love the outdoors, all seasons. I suck at math and science, but maybe I can force my way through for a degree in wildlife management or something like that. So, since I do have quite a few Psych classes under my belt, I'm going to design a degree that will count those, and allow me to explore my other interests more thoroughly, and still get a degree out of the whole deal. I am really excited about the first college program. I can take classes anywhere and transfer them into this degree, I don't have to take just classes at Metro State. I want to take some sciences, and some photography classes. Both things that I really do enjoy. Hands on and intelectually challenging, and variety.
