17 days to go!
Seventeen days until surgery! I can't believe that it is about here and I am this close to the loser bench! First time in my life that I will hold the badge of LOSER with PRIDE!! Been telling people in my life about having surgery and things have been going well with that. You can see the look of concern on some people's faces when I tell them and they ask, "have you thought it all out?" I know that people are just concerned but I tell them that I have been thinking about this since 2005! I am so thankful that I have a supportive partner and family.
It looks like there is going to be coffee on Saturday in Burnsville. Could me in!

I'll miss you at coffee on Saturday - but good luck on your surgery! There's a few of us that live right in Burnsville too - so feel free to contact me or anyone else as you go through this journey - especially if you want to get out and walk - I could always stand to get more exercise in. I'll PM you my phone number just in case you need someone. Will your partner be posting for you after your surgery to let us all know how it went?
