update on me
Lisa,
I don't remember who you had for insurance........
I have BCBS and their guide lines were 40% body fat were covered, 35-39 % was considered with co-morbidities.
My body fat was 38%, I only had BP issues......But I went ahead and did all the necessary steps anyways like phych appt. Dietition appt. Had my Doctors verification of 3 years of failed dieting, Everything was documented that I had tried like weigh****chers, pills taken, etc. I had written my letter to BCBS and my Family Doctor had written his letter of approval. My phych. Doctor said this looked good to the insurance, that they could see that I was serious about having this surgery.......
Don't give up.....Keep fighting for what you want......

That was always my fear.... that I'd start losing weight and then not qualify.... (though at 300lbs that was not likely).....but I just find that horribly rediculous... isn't that the POINT??
