I'm home...thanks for the prayers!

Hi everyone, I'm home and feeling pretty good. I had some pain from all the air pumped into my belly,

but that has subsided and I'm starting to feel more normal...well, I guess what is the new normal. Am sipping and walking and AMAZAED that I feel full from jello! That is one of the things I had a hard time wrapping my head around prior to surgery...that I would feel full from so little. It's true! I am full and I love it!
Trying some skim milk today and was nervous milk wouldn't like me anymore, but it does, YEAH! So I sit with my timer and my beverage and wait for another day to pass...another day closer to pudding and mashed potatos!
Also, it was SO GREAT to meet all of you last weekend at MG coffee. What am amazing bunch you all are and I feel blessed to be welcomed into such a wonderful group. Thank you!
I'll keep you all posted as I progress...I guess pictures are next!

Welcome home, glad your feeling good and everything is moving along.
Pudding and mashed potatoes, who would of thought a bit ago something so lame sounding would be so good sounding LOL. I hope it tastes good once you get to that point. Simple pleasures.

I've been out of town, but I am both glad and relieved to hear you are home and doing really well. The first few weeks were kind of surreal for me...not hungry, tired, taking little sips all the damn time, waiting to have "real" food again, but before you know it you will be past this weird time and on to your new life.
