Morning.. Im alive and kicking gently
Hi everyone and thanks for the well wishes.
Im home now...had to do an unexpected overnight due to some extra work inside me.
When my gyno went in he found the ovary had a big ( abit bigger than a golfball) size cyst and another big one growing off the cyst as well. So he got those taken care of and then Dr. Schmidt my RNY surgeon went in to see if she could find the source of that occasional awful pain. Once she got in there she found many many adhesions and scar tissue... after cleaning that up she found that my intestine was adhered to my abdominal wall and while trying to detach it knicked a hole in it :( so she cleaned up any bowel that leaked into my abdomen and four hours later I was in for the night with many bag of anitibiotics to cover all bases.
Sooooooooooo first thing I noticed was how much easier it was to get up the first time being thin vs heavy. My tum feels like I have done three days worth of ab crunches and besides the gas pain ( ouchie) and hiccups ( oh bad bad ) Im doing well. DH and I walked two blocks last night and Im taking just one pain med on occasion. Thank you Barb for checking on me and sending up the flare I was ok. Your such a loving soul! My true Angels were my Mom Dad and Husband.. quick story.. as I was getting ready that morning my DH got hit with a horrid kidney stone that had him almost to his knees. The poor man smiled for me while they were prepping me and when I was in surgery they put him in the ER and gave him pain meds and tried to insist on him staying for a scan... he said NO he promised me he'd be there when I opened my eyes and he was going to do just that.
Awwww love him.
Ok..Im done.. LOL gonna be home just restin and walking.

Glad your home and being taken care of. Pain is no fun at all!
Now you will just have to keep on hubby to make sure he takes care of that stone if he has more probs.
