Drink water hun... chew on SF popsicles...  Jello...  those first few days are hell.  no two ways about it but just think of the pay off!!!  and it does get easier!

Also get out and do things that aren't food related.  It helps, really it does!!

*hugs*  I'm here if you need me!  Just PM me!

Have another protein shake or 2 if your program allows it. Call your doctor - see if they have other recommendations.

Please spay and neuter your pets!

Ditto what Lori said.   Check out the sf popsicles at super Walmart in Superior...they have orange crush, A&W rootbeer, and Dr pepper in one box.   The have a great flavor.   You might want to call and see if you can add in another shake.   My Dr said my minimum was 5 per day but I could drink more if needed.  Try to find other things to keep your mind busy.   After you get through these first few days it will get easier.   Let me know if there's anything I can do to help you.   I'll be out of town this weekend but am here otherwise if you need to talk etc...

It's hard what you're going through and it will pass (somewhat).  Hang in there - it is normal and it's not all "head" stuff due to your food addiction - a lot of what you are describing is part of the fat burning process.

On my surgery date, I told the dr. that my biggest issue on that date was that I just wanted him to make me stop feeling so dang hungry like I had been the past 3 weeks of liquid diet.  He said not a problem and you know what, not a problem!  So, my comfort to you is that in 12 days you won't give a crap about any of what you're feeling right now.

Best wishes!

Hi Juliana,

Just got your email and replied in regards to the liquid diet but I also want to add.....try eating  sugar free jello, pudding or popicles they were a life saver during the liquid diet for me.   Yes, it is really hard at first but again it will all be worth it and YOU CAN DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!   Just believe in yourself and if your struggling come to the boards for support or I'm just a phone call away.

Hugs,

Erika
