She had two large cysts on an ovary to be removed. Also, she had been experiencing some very bad pains in her abdomen which they could not tie down to anything. So while they were in doing the cysts thingy, her WLS doctor went in to take a look to see if they could determine the cause of the pain. Two birds with one stone.....
