Is this normal?
Hello all,
I just wanted to check in and see if this is normal. I think it is but I wanted to verify. Tonight (hence why I'm writing this at 5 am :) ) I woke up with pain right below my chest, where my new pouch is. I think it's just gas because when I get up and walk around for 5 or 10 minutes it goes away. It's only happened twice before this and getting up and walking and moving makes the pain go away. I'm a little over a month out so I think it's normal....thoughts?
Thanks
Sarah

WHEN IN DOUBT, CALL THE DOCTOR........
It is okay to ask people on the board for their opinions, but NONE of us are doctors, NONE of us know what is normal for you, and NONE of us know whether it is normal to feel the pain you are feeling in this area. Gas to one is an ulcer to another. Constipation to one is a blockage to another. Not keeping stuff down is not chewing well enough to one but too small of an opening to another.
We can give opinions on your feelings, help with food choices, kudos for WOW moments, etc. BUT MEDICAL STUFF needs to be addressed with your doctor.
Keep us updated so we don't worry about you.

I did take your advice(s) and called the Dr's office. I realized I wasn't taking enough Zantac. I guess I was suppose to be taking Zantac 75 twice a day for three months and I was only taking one a day. I"m not sure where I messed up on that information... but they said they feel it's probably an over production of acid since I'm not taking 2. So I'm going to start doing that!!
Thanks Everyone
