Can anyone recommend?

Is there anyone who'd recommend their therapist to me?  I live in Isanti and travel up and down 65 to work in Minneapolis.  I'd like something off that path...but who knows.  You could PM me if you had any recommendations.

I have not used this service personally or professionally, but plan on contacting them soon - I read in the Phoenix (a recovery newspaper) about a counseling referral service called Access to Counseling.  Their website seemed impressive in that they offer to discuss your counseling needs and work to find a counselor that takes your insurances and specializes in the things that you want to work on.  Their website is www.accesstocounseling.com and their phone number is on the site.  If you end up using them, please PM me and tell me how you thought your experience went.  I don't want to continue to refer to them if they don't do quality work.  Sorry that I don't have more experience with them yet - I'm just now going to have one of my staff contact them to get more information - but it sounds like you need to get moving on it faster than that.

Paula, do you have an employee assistance program (EAP) through your employer? If so, start there first.

If not, do you have a list from your insurance of who is in network?
They should be able to help you find someone in the areas you're looking for.

I have been seeing Lana Boutacoff in St Paul. I have Health Partners and I know she takes that. She has been amazing. If St Paul isnt too far out of the way for you, let me know and I will get you her info.
