Good Monday Morning everone!  I am back after being gone for 4 days and really, really need to get myself back on track.  I know that I will be going back to work to find a ton of accounts to work, so I am going to do this before I leave the house this morning.  Today I will...get in at least 100 ounces of liquid, eat 3 meals, protien first, no grazing, go for a walk tonight and do abs workout, and continue with new bedtime of 10:30 pm.

Hi all!  I've been switching to "ongoing" goals so that I'm not letting my perfectionism kick in.  Actually, I've never tried to be perfect, I just like beating myself up because I'm not.  Sick, I know.

Anyway, here is a list of my current short-term goals - I will maintain, on a nearly daily basis, 1) drinking 2 liters of water, 2) taking medications and vitamins as prescribed, 3) eat 3 meals with snacking ONLY when feeling stomach hunger, 4) clean and organize the house before school starts in December, 5) apply for diploma at school, 6) work on cookbook project, and 7) start an exercise routine.

So, daily, I will post how I am doing with these things.

I hope that everyone has a lovely Monday.  It feels really humid to me.  I had to dry off like 3 times after taking my shower.

Good morning  :)  Missed you Nicole!!  lol  Hope you had a great weekend!  As for me, the fair was fun, Roger and I put up a badmitton net and I hope to play here and there with the kids and I picked up some 3lb weights to use on my walks in the hopes of lessening the batwings  lol  I"m tired of fanning myself as I walk!  Also picked up a new dress (a large!!) and a new skirt!  It's much more fun shopping now!

Today I Will:
- vitamins
- water
- protein first
- laundry and pick up the bedroom


Yesterday I:
- keep it simple - heck yeah!  was a fairly relaxing day
- vitamins - yeppers
- water - always room for improvement but not bad
- protein first - yep!  had mahi mahi (tough and over grilled) for lunch and steak for supper
- clean a bit of house but above all enjoy the day OUTSIDE!! - very much so!!

Hello!  I managed the whole day at work (all 10 hours - gotta love OT) without one visit here to OH because this morning I had 224 accounts in my route and 40-50 accounts is our average, so my OH time this week will be very limited.   I am glad to hear that you had a good weekend and that you had a fun little shopping venture!  I went garage saling with my sisters and mom on Saturday and picked up a cute little black dress that is a NY & Co size medium and it fit!  I almost fell over!  I think the weights when walking will help, but also try doing some tricept work to really help tone that area!  Overall I had a good weekend, although I realized that my mom and little sister are not very good supports.  My little sister flat out told me that if I were to follow my nurses advice (start tying carbs like pasta and rice in very small doses) that I will gain all of my weight back.  I almost started to cry, but instead put my earphones in and listened to some soothing music.  I did however have a good talk with my older sister about everything and she is 100% supportive and agrees with my nurse.  She said that while somethimes she thinks "Yikes, Nicole is going to catch up with me, I had better kick it into gear!"  that she is so happy and proud of me and that she knows I will make it to my goal by my 1 year surgiversary.  This made me happy to hear.  That and I have started walking again!  I had a really good walk tonight and it felt so good and it is so odd how even walking feels like flying now!  Well, anyways I had best get back to my dinner.  Hope you had a good day/night!  Love & Hugs!  Nicole
