Anybody have any suggestions on where to stay in the Wisconsin Dells?  My DH and I would like to take our kids in August and stay at a place that has an indoor waterpark.

Hi Lisa,
I will check with my son, he and his family just got back last week from there. They go every year and always stay ant the same place and they have an indoor waterpark where they stay...
Sounds like so much fun!

Places to stay that have indoor water parks and are nice are:

The Great Wolf Lodge
Wilderness
Kahlihi (Not sure on the spelling for that one)

I have stayed at the Chula Vista before but they do not have an amazing indoor water parks as the 3 I mentioned above.

Have fun!!

We stay at Great Wolf every November when we go.  We love it, they have a story time thing in the lobby at night and a craft room also.  The kids love it.  I have stayed at Kalahari for business before and they have a grea****erpark also.  We are looking into The Wilderness for a change of pace for this November though also.

We checked into the Kalhari and for 6 people the $$$ was $1,900.  Does this seem right for 6 people?

Sadly yes, that price does seem right. The Kalahari IS expensive  whether you stay there or not depends on how much you want to do. The cost of the Kalahari includes the waterpark everyday, so that's why it's a bit more. We have stayed there for a long weekend and it was fun, but we didn't really do much else while we were in town that time. Other times we have gone to the Dells and we have stayed at a lower cost hotel (or brought our camper) and have gone to lots of places like Noah's arc one day and another park another day.
I have to say though, the Kalahari IS a nice place to stay and it's very easy to charge lots of things to your room while on the property!

Good luck with your decision. You'll have fun no matter where you stay!

Heidi

We have stayed at the Great Wold Lodge many times- Love it!

But Summer is their peak time and very expensive!

Another inexpensive way to go is the KOA- campground- it is very nice as well and hit Noah's Ark Water Park =)  We did that last year- on a nice day the outside park is more fun anyway!!!!
