TGIF my friends!!! What a week I have had..! busy...busy...busy..!! BUT what a beautiful week is was weather wise..!
Got a busy weekend full of camping with friends and family that bound to be a good time.. Maybe I can find some photo op for a new avatar. yeah.. Im tired of looking at my pic too, but its better that looking at the head with a question mark in the middle of it...LOL

Happy, happy Friday Dana and all! It's been a fabulous week, not only weather-wise, but also since getting the new computer up and running: HP Pavillion with VISTA and the Broadband--how did I ever put up with the old one for so long?!
After three weeks off, this is my weekend to work, and am so looking forward to seeing the elderly residents and coworkers! A gal friend and I are going to see her friend's band tomorrow night, and it's felt just wonderful getting out in the social circuit --today's my two-year surgiversary
, and am lovin' now being at the lowest weight since eighth grade and feeling fabulous now taking Lasix four times daily which has dissipated all tha****er weight! Have a wonderful weekend everyone! Hugs galore, Patti

Happy Friday! I need to put in about 10 hours of work today, but I'm doing it from home so as long as I can keep focused on my work everything should be great. Tonight I'm going to watch Juno. I think that we're going to get together with some neighbors for a BBQ tomorrow and I'm excited about that because I'm going to try baked beans and I tried ground beef yesterday and it went OK so I'm thinking that I should be able to eat the foods that are there (and,if not, home will be so close by). Tomorrow morning I want to go to the Farmer's market and I might go to the Eagan coffee before doing that. The rest of the weekend I need to spend writing my resume (time to start job searching for my new career) and picking up my house.
I hope that everyone enjoys their weekend plans! Unfortunately, there aren't too many summer weekends left. Fall is coming soon and that is my FAVORITE season. I heard on the radio the other day that a person's favorite season is the one that they were born in. That's sure true for me! On that note, Dana I would love to go to your place for a fall bonfire!

Yes, you need a new Avatar........I'm going to a wedding Saturday, seeing relatives that I haven't seen since my all time high last summer, should be interesting....Sunday for the first time i'm playing Paintball with my hubby & his friends.
Hopefully I won't die too much......

It has been a good week - went to my PCP for a diabetic check up and he is very impressed with my weight loss (he is also the one that helped me get the surgery). My blood sugars have been running low, so I got to REDUCE the amount of insulin my pump gives me during the day (outside of eating)...that is a GOOD thing!
This weekend is going to be busy, but fun...it is the county fair and the fairgrounds are in my town. The only bad thing about that is that it is only about 4 blocks from my house, so the evening activities get a bit noisey...truck pull tonight, tractor pull tomorrow and demo derby on Sunday...tough getting to sleep with all that snorting going on.
Tomorrow is a coffee group for Western WI in Osceola and I am going to do my best to get there for that. Hopefully we can get a good group together for that.
Well, best get back to work - my lunch break is over for today....
