Does anyone else have Avatar issues?

Hello All,

Seems like, every time I try to change it there is always a problem.  I upload my new avatar picture a while ago and it hasn't change to the new one yet.   Does anyone know, how long it should take to take effect?  Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

If you saved it, then hit F5 or refresh after you're done. You should be able to see it right away. Or try logging out and logging back in.

Either way, your new avie is up and I see it and I think you look MAH-VEHLOUS!!!

It must be murphy's law because I see now that it changed but of course not when I'm posting my questions. 

But, I do have another question.  Why does it seem some avatars are blurry and some are not.  Is there anything I can do to change this effect?

I've had pictures go fuzzy when I try to enlarge them beyond their pixels. (Or something like that...)
