This week I was at the beach with my daughters!   I much prefer the pool with no sand, but it was fun to relive the memories of when I was young!  We use to go to Shady Oak beach when I was a kid!  

Let's see what you are doing out in this wonderful summer weather!  Whoo Hoo!  

OMG!!!  I practically grew up on Shady Oak Beach!!!  Even when we moved to Minnetonka, my friends and I would take the bus to the corner of Excelsior Blvd & Shady Oak road, and hike down to the beach!!!

If you weren't so much younger than me, I'd wonder if we ever played together!!

I'm not younger than you! I'm 41!  I bet we knew each other at the beach! HA!

Do you have one of those SMART cars?  I wanna know all about this car you're in!  I love the pic!

Isn't Shady Oak the best?  I still bring my kids there a couple times a summer!  Did you go off that HIGH HIGH HIGH diving board?  I didn't.....my daughter Raena does.  SCAREY!!!!!   

You ARE younger than me, but I'd have pegged you at - oh, 36? 

I don't have a Smart yet, but I'm on the 22 month wait list!  (with @ 20 months to go!)  We'll see if I actually go for it when my number comes up...  I drive so many miles solo, it's hard to justify having a "whole" car!  But then there are those times when there are 3 or more of us...  I'd have to keep the 'Cruiser, which of course BAILEY assumes will be HERS then, not a "spare"..

They drive real nice - even out on the freeway!  The only freaky thing was looking over my shoulder to change lanes... it was like EEEEEK!!!!!  There's the back of the car, where you're used to seeing another row of SEATS in front of the rear window!

Uh - and no, I never did go off the HIGH HIGH HIGH dive.  Now?  Maybe!  Then?  BAWWWWK- bawk-bawk-bawk....

Here you go....changed my avie...this is how I have felt for about 3 weeks now!!! The AC at work has been out now for 3 weeks.....they think they finally got it fixed today, they better have or my brain is going to fry!!

It's like pulling teeth to get my daughter to take my picture.  Then she does a crappy job ~ in my 4mo. pic the look on my face was total frustration ~ she just won't cooperate.
