Good Tuesday morning everyone!  Time to rise and shine.  It's gonna be a wonderful day.  I hope you slept as good as I did.  Just had to get up a bit too early this morning.  Allison has to go back to the OMF Facial Dr. today for a follow up.  I'm going to get a kick out of it when he sees how well she looks!  She's my miracle girl!

Our challenge today is to forgive.  Too often, someone does us wrong and we harbor ill feelings or we can't forgive them.  If you hang on to unforgiveness it will eat you alive.  It will grow like a disease inside our hearts and mind until it can destroy us.  Unforgivness destroys loving relationships.  It can destroy families.  It's a terrible thing to hold on to.  I talked with a young man just last week that has had very bad temper problems.  He will lash out at his mom, brother, step dad, even strangers.  I asked him why he felt the need to do this so bad.  He pulled out a letter that he toted in his wallet.  The letter was written in 2000 when he was 8 years old.  It was a letter to the man that split his family.  He vowed revenge to this man.  I told this young boy that not only did he harbor unforgiveness in his mind, but he was carrying it around on his person.  We can not carry around unforgiveness.  On us, or in us.  It will kill you and destroy you.  Let go.  Learn to forgive.  It may be hard to forget, but you can forgive.  Imagine if the entire world NEVER forgave.  Imagine that Jesus Christ never came to forgive?  WOW!  Where would we be?  Today, I challenge you to forgive everyone that has ever done you wrong.  You will feel like a million pounds have been lifted off your shoulders.  No matter what ANYONE has EVER done to you, you CAN and MUST forgive them!  You can do this!

So, who's up this early?  What cha sipping on?  Me?  I'm about to go to the kitchen and get the coffee pot going.  Then, I'm headed to the front porch swing for a little bit before I get Torey and Allison up.  We are going to make it a day in B'ham.

Love you all and ya'll have a great forgiving day!

Good morning Randall!  Your message really struck home with me right now.  Finally broke free from a convoluted unhealthy relationship of two-plus years.  Forgiveness for myself, and for the guy are indeed crucial to heal and grow!  Am forgiving myself, and keeping up with daily twice-walking which has been so cleansing as I shed the co-dependency.  Enjoyed the most amazing weekend way up north at a church family retreat: the fellowship with kids, adults, and bonfires, fireworks, fireflies, the brilliant stars not seen in the city, and oh, and the water, the water--pontoons, spedboats, and the blue sky and sunshine!  Wow, on my Sunday morning walk, I came across a small rock which is gray with a white cross in it!  My girl friend claims she could see Christ on it, which I couldn't see, though am saving the rock for a memento of a fabulous weekend of worship and fellowship, and to always know He's indeed my Rock! Coincidence finding that rock?  Absolutely not!  Have a blessed day, and am SO looking forward to seeing you, Lucy, and the munchkins at MOA!  Hugs galore, Patti

Never let your memories be greater than your dreams.
