BMI charts do you think they are right?
Nancy~i have stopped paying a lot of attention to the BMI charts because I learned a few months ago that my lean body mass weights more than what I had set my original goal weight. I have since revised it to something more reasonable, but I agree there needs to be a chart for people with different frame sizes. If I find one I will definitely let you know! ~Nicole
Ah -- the numbers game!!! Ignore the numbers and just go with how you feel about yourself. If you are happy with that, ignore the rest.
Not everyone will hit "normal" because BMI charts are set up for the "average" -- there are people who are higher and people who are lower -- small boned, average boned, large boned. The average for the amount of food after RNY is 1 cup. That is the average - some are 3/4 cup, some are 1 1/2 -- average 1 cup. The average is a 60% loss of excess weight -- some are 40%, some are 100% -- average 60%.
So let go of the numbers!!!! Enjoy yourself and your healthier life.
