Eggs?

Ok so I can try eggs... I'm acutally really worried. I had surgery June 24th I've lost 23 pounds, I've had no nausea and vomiting AT ALL. I was going to try poached eggs because the dietian said that scrambled usually is heavy and does a number on people. What are some of your experiences with eggs? I love (or at least I did before surgery) eggs over easy, but since it's made with oil I thought that poached would be better and healthier...

Thoughts? Experiences?

Thanks

Sarah

Eggs and I get along just fine.  I started with scrambled.  They were ok with some cheese.  I do like over easy, poached, and hard boiled (I DID NOT like hard boiled before surgery but craved them afterwards).  Just take it easy.  Seasoning is your best friend.

Good Luck!

Hi ....eggs didn't sit well with me for about 4 months. Now I can eat them any wayI want them. Poached would be a good way to start. If you have boiled be sure to add some mayo to them so they aren't dry. They didn't bother me like scrambled did.

Good luck....hugs.....connie d

I started out with egg whites only at first.  I scrambled them with a little cheese.  The yolk can be a bit "heavy" on your tummy.

I lived on eggs for a good month.  I didn't have any problems with scrambled eggs, but I think I mostly ate them hard boiled.

I've never had problems with eggs....in fact it's one food that fills me up fast.  Even after 5 years, I cannot eat 2 eggs with toast.  If I have toast, it's one egg and one slice toast.  If it's two eggs...that's it.  No dunking!

I never had an issue with eggs any way I made them.  I made them scrambled with cheese often.  You can do over easy and don't need oil. I never use oil when I make my eggs over easy - just use some non-stick spray.  Just take it slow and do a little at a time.

My first attempt was with deviled eggs (FF mayo) and no problem.  Now I like soft boiled or soft fried with cooking spray ~ just so there is some liquid yolk to keep it moist.

Yeah for you on the 23 pounds!  I am right behind you with 21.  I can't reply back to your message sorry!

Has anyone hushed yet?  I am waiting for someone to tell my how great I look.  Mostly people have just said you can tell in your face!
